INSPIRING CHANGE THROUGH ACTION.
The Mark Raeder Forever Foundation (“MRFF”) was established to honor the legacy of Mark A. Raeder, who unexpectedly and tragically passed away on March 25, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, kindness and commitment to sustainability.
A devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Mark was good at everything, but more importantly, good to everyone. He was a compassionate, visionary leader whose efforts helped advance clean energy solutions across his home state of Illinois and the country, while creating economic opportunity for the less fortunate in the process.
His Foundation honors a man who could meet anyone where they were — high or low — and who embodied the guiding principle of the company he co-founded that "well done is better than well said." MRFF embodies these principles by supporting practical, results-oriented programs that create tangible benefits to people's lives.
Mark’s impact on the U.S. solar industry and his mentorship of countless young professionals were driven by his pure heart, a righteous sense of fairness and his Jesuit education that fostered “men for others.” His Foundation continues this legacy by investing in not-for-profits that put these principles into practice.
He was intellectually and athletically gifted, compassionate, driven by a righteous sense of fairness and justice, and could meet anyone where they were—high or low.
